Q: Is this server really free to play?
Yes, completely free. No pay-to-win, no donation perks that affect gameplay. Everyone starts equal with 1000 coins and plays the same game.
Q: Can other players raid my base?
No! We run True PvE which means players cannot damage each other's structures outside of designated PvP zones. Your base is safe.
Q: Can other players steal from my boxes?
No. The Prevent Looting plugin protects all your storage containers. Only players you authorize in your Tool Cupboard can access your boxes.
Q: What is the server ping like from South Africa?
The server is hosted in South Africa specifically for local players. Expect 5-30ms ping from most SA locations — significantly better than international servers.
Q: How often does the map wipe?
Once a month, on the first Thursday. Blueprints, coins and backpack contents carry over through wipes.
Q: Do I lose my coins on wipe?
No! Your coin balance in the economy system carries over through every wipe. Only the map and structures reset.
Q: Can I play solo?
Absolutely. The server is designed to be enjoyable solo or in groups. PvE content like raidable bases, NPC events and farming all work perfectly solo.
Q: Are there admin abuses?
Admins do not play the economy (no farming, no coin advantages). We only use admin commands for server management and to help players.
Q: What if someone is breaking the rules?
Contact an admin through the website contact form or find us in game. Include as much detail as possible including the player name and what happened.
Q: How do I get the guild or owner tag in chat?
Owner and co-owner tags are set by admins. Player challenge titles (Hunter, Miner, etc) are earned automatically by being the top player in each category.
Q: Can I build anywhere on the map?
Yes, within the normal Rust building rules. You cannot build in monuments or inside other players' TC range without permission.
Q: Is there a Discord server?
We're working on setting one up! Check back soon or contact us through the website for now.
Q: How do the PvP zones work?
Certain areas on the map are designated as PvP zones. When you enter one, PvE protection is removed and you can fight other players. The zones are clearly marked on the map.
Q: How do I report a bug?
Use the contact form on this website or message an admin in game. Please describe what happened, where you were, and what you were doing when the bug occurred.
